This is where you can see some things I've done as a Graphic Designer

Don't forget that you can always go to either my Home Page, or the Certificates page, to fill out my guestbook and tell me whats on your minds.

This is where I took a picture of Marie and then did a sketch from it. I can do this for you too. It's always nice to have a hand drawn sketch for someone as a present, they always love them. Contact me about doing it for you're signifcant other.
Thats the original picture up above, and then the final sketch. I've done them with pastels too. Either way. Let me do yours.

By the way, that is My Marie, otherwise known as..."My Better Half". We've been together now, well since 1987, when we were little 27 year olds, working in Manhattan together. I think we were together for about 2 years, then we got "The Mush".

So there it is. "My Better Half"
This one is a Piece of 3D Art.
I did it in a program called 3D Studeio Max.
Which was really hard, because I'm a Lightwave guy.
But I had to give the compitition a try, and to me I can't ever figure out why people use 3DSMax over Lightwave. Lightwave is so much easier to learn, understand and work with, also Lightwave has the best rendering engine out there on the market.
When I get someone that wants me to do some artwork for them, of course I always give them a few different ideas.
These are some Variations on an Idea" using Photoshop tricks and techniques.
This was done when I was really new to Lightwave.
It's just another little 3D Artwork, of an Alian Landscape type thingie
Also done in Lightwave 7.5
My second atempt at working with 3D Studio Max.
It can be done, its just so much more "Non-User Friendly" than Lightwave.
Maybe it's whatever program you learn on 1st, is the one that you'll always call "home"
Nothing outragous here. Just a business card. Mine
This Bumper Sticker was a huge hit in the months following 9-11.
No I didn't sell them, I gave them out for free.
If you want one just right click on it, download it, and save it, then blow it back up to bumpersticker size, and put it on contact paper, or regular photo paper, but keep it inside your back windshield. (Also it would be nice to mention "Bruces Graphics" or "Bruce Morano" somewhere on the sticker, or just drop me a line and a picture of where you put it. OK?
I do love to draw, watch, make, read, just about anything having to do with animation. The old 'Ink and Paint" stuff to me is and always will be the best. The true meaning of art in Animation, but I also have to admit that there is some exciting new people out there doing some cool things too. This was just a character that I drew in Illustrator He's Cool though, NO?
This one was done in another easy, and inexpensive 3D Animation program. It's streagnth lies in making worlds, and landscapes. It's called Bryce. You can download it from Metacreations. give it a try. There also is a freeware one called Anim8or.
Hey Guess what...Same thing, just different. Yea, more "Variations".
It's part of what I do.
Here is another "Variation on an Idea" for a newsletter a client of mine wanted a header for. I usually give many more than just this, but I didn't want to fill up the whole page.
These were done in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Yea another "Variation-on-a-theme" type a thing. There was this person that wanted a "Signature Sign" for a bulliten board, and I gave him some different ideas, along with the main one with different fonts and colors etc..
A Logo done in Illustrator for my Carpentry Co.
A Lightwave Tutorial I did. Good glassware.
Glass is rougher than you might think. At least to do it right.
Lightwave 3D.
Just a little character of mine, that I made. He's cool. What would you name him?
This is that program that I mentioned earlier (up top)
It's freeware, that means its free. It's really a pretty good 3D Animation software piece, especially for beginners. You'll be pleasantly supprised. www.anim8or.com
Done in Photoshop, text, wood effect etc...
This was done in Photoshop, It's a CD Cover for a large format plastic mailer CD-ROM.
Here is another drawing I did. This was of my Father
I can do that for you, lets talk, if you have a picture you like, I'll redo it in pencil or charcol for you. It's a great gift.
Another Photoshop Text Effect
This is just a bunch of triped out ideas used in one Gui. True it's a bit overdone, but the idea is just to get a bunch of techniques into one GUI, then you can pick and chose which ones you want. It's functional.
This is just a tiny man that usually sits in the corner of my business card for carpentry. I brought him to life in Illustrator. He's usually just a black outline.
Some Lily's done in Illustrator. Quick Gradients.
cz3_logo really doesn't mean anything. Just an idea.
I just love that plastic, Glass looking effect that you can get in Photoshop.
This was my 1st professionaly done ad for a computer school. It was used in The Asbury Park Press, and The Home News for about 6 months.
Here is a little Photoshop Trickery, using the distort function.I'm sure this is the picture that alot of my Grammar School, and Junior High School Teachers would like to have used of me back in those days.
Another old friend from Lightwave, and my childhood.
This guy was a friend of mine when I was a kid, and he used to come into my room late at night, and take me to some really weird, wild, and cool places. I just never dug the way I always had to play "Doctor" (Yea he was always the Dr. and me the patient) with him and all his friends in his ship. But thats another story.
More Lightwave, and photoshop tricks. Just a little thing I whipped up in Lightwave for no apparent reason, other than the need to create stuff.
This is a character that I created, he's called "Slick" and he kinda has this dark sense of humor, but as we see in this strip, he's not to up on things like William Shakespeare.
Neon Effect - I just dig it.
In the above cartoon, I said "he's not to up on William Shakespeare".This is how I got the idea...
Once in class I did a movie poster with Mey West, and W.C. Fields, and I realized one day that not one kid under 30 knew American Folklore these days, and whats worse didn't care about it. I said, "Are you kidding, nobody here knows who W.C.Fields is"? One kid, about 23-25 (in 2000) years old spoke up, and said, "yea I know who he is, he wrote War of the Worlds". No thats not a joke, thats reality in todays youth.
Cell Phone Ad, QuarkXPress, Illustrator, and Photoshop
The one has a little "frame" effect, that just gives it that something extra, when on a white background.
I've always been a caddy man. Ever since my 1st 2nd hand car which which was actually a caddy-wanna-be car back in the 70's, An Oldsmobile Delta 98, which was what people that couldn't afford Cadillacs back then used to buy. After that my parents were always Cadillac people, and for years I got their "hand-me-downs" and now I know 1st hand that Cadillacs are the best made American Cars. You can beat them with a stick and they'll still run. Their engines never died. The bodies used to rust out, and all the electronics would slowly die out but the engines were always in great running order. This is my Homage to Cadillac. Done in Photoshop CS.
This is a Really nice Photo Isn't it?
Yea thats what I thought too.
Psych!!
No it isn't, I actually made that in a 3D program thats giving good old Bryce 3D a run for their money. Not even their money really because it's a FREE Program for anyone that wants to use it. It makes some great Scenery, and has a GUI thats different than most other 3D Apps, but once you get used to using it, it's really pretty good. It might take you about a day or 3 to get used to this program but it's worth the work. It's called "Terragen". Go get yourself a free copy and play around with it, and you'll love it to.
Here is a little animation in tribute to my "son". The greatest dog on the planet. A Lhasa called "Mushie" or "The Mush". Sorry, I know that all you people out there always think you have the best dog, but you don't, I do, it's Mushie, to bad you can't meet him, or you'd agree. "The Mush" passed on 5/6/06.. We'll miss you Mushie. Via Con Dios Little Man. He was 18 years old.
Here is a poster that I did as a theme for opposite ideas, working together. You know, cold vs hot, real-vs-Surreal, Heaven/Hell, etc... They dug it, I've grown since then.
Really this is just an Illustrator Doodle that I kinda liked. It needs to be used IN something, then it'll look more rounded out, but it's a good doodle none the less no?
Here is a Movie Poster made for the Black Sabbath Movie, that never came out because it's in my head.
This was 1st done in Byce 3D, then in Photoshop.
This was an old cartoon, that for years nobody remembered but me. I'd ask people about "Mr. Wizard & Tooter Turtle" but for years nobody knew what I was talking about. I thought I was going crazy, until finally sombody remembered him.
I don't know what I was more creative with in this one. I was rather creative in the use of Illustrator and the drawings, but if you want to know what the words in the ad mean, youd see that I got rather creative in my writing also. Stonehenge Preocupations, Flexible Outkrafts, Optical Perception Adjustment
Which means "Stonehenge Preocupations" = thinking about the past. "Flexible Outkrafts" is another way of saying "clothing", and "Optical Perception Adjustment" means changing the way you see things. So all together it just means, "Thinking About A New Way of Looking at The Way You Dress".
Here is an ad for a radio station, done in Photoshop. You should listen to this station when it's on the air. LOL :-)
This was an assignment for a Typography Class I had. Funny how all the students complimented me on this. Which is saying alot if you know Viscom people. They're not fast with the compliments usually.

This are just some of the simple ones.
I'm currently working on getting another ISP that gives me more space
so I can show off more animations and drawings.
These are just to show that I know my way around Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D programs.
With the techniques here, I can do whatever project you might need or want to have done.
