Location: Spring Lake Heights NJ, but really a Native New Yorker
Birthday: 4 March, 1960
Bio: Born and raised in Flushing Queens NY up until the age of 17, then moved to the quaint little Summer Residential town of Spring Lake Heights New Jersey. As a teenager, and then a young adult in my early 20's I just couldn't take all this small town mentality, the rumors, the rules, the whispering, and the cops. Manhattan was calling out to me, and I answered. I lived on The Lower East Side of Manhattan from the early 1980's up until I moved back to Jersey in 1999 to help take care of my aging Mother a year or 2 after my Father passed.
I played in a rather semi-famous band here at the Jersey Shore that went by the name "Tulsa" which did a Neil Young Show, and in the begining we did alot of Dylan, Forbert, Allman Bros, and alot of other great folk and country rock stuff. I met my better half "Marie Bogetti" in 1987, and we've been engaged ever since. Being that we're not "kid people" we don't really see the need to get married, and the fact that we see it as an out dated institution is also why we're happier staying together without all the pomp and ceremony of a wedding. Not to mention that we're now-a-days both certified agnostics.
Interests: I went back to College at the age of 39 in 1999, and got my AA Degree as a "Computer Graphics Specialist". Now I love working with Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, Lightwave 3D, all day, everyday either professionally or alone doing tutorials, and working on my portfolio.
In 2005 I also decided to learn about AutoCAD. I attended CDM Institute in Eatontown NJ, and now would like to get some work, using that software, but I need it to be stricktly an "entry level" position.
Due to my years as a musician, singer/songwriter, I still like to sit outside, and stum my old Marin, Ovation, or Ibenez Guitars when the mood hits.
I've always loved, and dug my dog, "Mushie" a Lhasa Apso, thats now about 17 years old. I'm affraid the years are finally now starting to catch up to him though. I just want his final time with us to be happy and free from pain. He's the best dog I've ever known, he barked about 3 times in his entire life, he listens, loves to be loved, and gives it back tenfold and doesn't shed. What else could you want from a dog?
